Woven in 1959 (as you can see the date is woven on the rug) years ago in Eastern Anatolia, this vintage Turkish rug from Kars radiates quiet strength through its bold color and elegant symmetry. The rich crimson red field hosts a regal central medallion, delicately rendered in shades of ivory and olive — a classic layout evoking heritage and nobility.

Floral motifs and tulip-inspired symbols bloom from the center, while each corner of the rug is adorned with stylized stepped niches and graceful botanical illustrations. The olive green borders, detailed with rosettes and medallion repeats, bring a grounding contrast to the intensity of the red field.
