Inspired by the highland villages of Denizli, this 60–70-year-old handwoven wool rug carries echoes of centuries-old Anatolian tradition. Though it originates from Döşemealtı, its soft sandy beiges and deep ocean blues resemble the hues of the Aegean air, cotton fields, and stone homes of rural Denizli.

The central motifs—three geometric medallions—represent protection and grounding, common symbols among Denizli’s weaving women who encoded their emotions, hopes, and blessings into each knot. The stepped borders echo the silhouette of Babadağ mountain, while the leafy, snowflake-like corner motifs symbolize fertility and nature.
